I have been setting up and repairing guitars almost as long as I have been playing them.     I believe that in most cases a guitar should be left as unaltered or as close to original as possible. That is not always possible so each guitar is unique in that regard.

I do general guitar repair, Things such as {set ups} The overall adjustment of the instrument for maximum playability. Electronics: Things like Pickup installments or  replace worn switches or potentiometors. Replace plastic nut with a bone one. Things I do not do are: broken headstocks and refinishing. Most of the time I would have to see the instrument to make an evaluation.

One thing I will not do is charge someone $75 for work done to a guitar that is not even worth that. Most guitars can be brought back to good playing condition with a new set of strings and a overall setup.
