I have tried to play the bass like a bassist would and not like a guitar player who assumes because they have become proficient as a guitarist they can automatically play the bass. I like any good bass player who has a "feel" for the song.

Some of my personal favorites are John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, Geezer Butler, and John Entwhistle. I also like Funk, Reggae, and Caribbean music. Even some Disco has great bass playing in it.
